Officials from the Social Security System paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Jon N. Aying last May 6, 2026, to discuss plans for the establishment of the proposed “SSS Sara Service Office” in the Municipality of Sara.
The meeting aimed to apprise the Local Government Unit of Sara regarding the agency’s initiative to bring Social Security System services closer to the people, particularly to members, pensioners, and employees within the municipality and neighboring towns.
According to SSS officials, the proposed Service Office is envisioned to improve accessibility and convenience for constituents who need to travel to other areas to avail of SSS-related services. The office is also expected to strengthen government service delivery at the local level through closer coordination between the SSS and the LGU.
Mayor Jon N. Aying welcomed the initiative and expressed appreciation for the agency’s efforts to expand access to government services for the people of Sara and neighboring communities.
The proposed SSS Sara Service Office is expected to provide easier access to membership registration, contribution inquiries, benefits applications, loan services, and other transactions offered by the Social Security System.
